Citycare Property mobilises facilities maintenance services at RNZAF Base Auckland
On 1 September, the team was welcomed with a mihi whakatau. Citycare Property leaders joined the new team and New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) representatives for the occasion. Our kaikōrero, Strategic Māori Relationships Manager, Gillies Baker spoke on behalf of Citycare Property, followed by a mihi from Chief Information Officer Adam Doocey.
Adam says, “This mobilisation reflects the hard work and commitment of Citycare Property and NZDF teams working side by side to get things right from day one. I'm especially proud of the experienced kaimahi who have chosen to be part of this next chapter, bringing their knowledge, relationships, and dedication to supporting the facilities that enable Defence operations every day.”
This is Citycare Property’s fourth mobilisation under the NZDF Facilities Maintenance Services contract, following service starts at Burnham, Trentham and Linton Military Camps.
Thank you to the RNZAF Base Auckland team, the wider mobilisation team and NZDF for their work through the transition.
